Code of Ethics, Standard of Practice, and Agreements (2 hrs)
by Paul Gressin
This segment covers what you need to know regarding the NYS home inspection law: What you’re required to inspect, how you’re required to behave, and what your agreements can and should say.

Basement and Crawl Space Foundations (1.5 hrs)
by Bill Simone
This course examines common problems with foundations, including leaks and structural failure, as well as common solutions.

Oil-fired Heating Systems Inspections (1.5 hrs)
by John Levey
How to inspect oil-fired heating equipment, including hydronic / steam / warm air systems, water heaters, and oil tanks. Typical defects and report writing techniques will be covered.

Fire Inspections (1 hr)
by Jim Surless
Fire can devastate a home. This course covers what home inspectors can do to highlight fire safety concerns during inspections.

Mold, Lead paint, and Asbestos (1.5 hrs)
by Steve Rosenbaum
Although many of us disclaim these items, this course will offer consideration about what every home inspector should know when it comes to these environmental concerns — what they are, where they’re found, and how to discuss them.

Home Inspection Process and Procedures (1.5 hrs)
by Jim Ruppert
This program is intended to focus on inspections and procedures. Items covered will include inspecting and reporting on mechanicals, electrical, plumbing, exterior, and structure, as well as working with clients and agents.

3D Inspection Systems (1 hr)
by Carl Fowler
This segment will highlight features of this popular inspection software, including office management, invoicing, mobile apps, and report layout.

Electrical Service Inspections (2 hrs)
by Sal Ferrara and John Cangemi
This course covers what to look for during inspection of the main electrical service components: Panels, service drops, conductors, and the grounding system
